This beautiful 100% pure Mulberry Silk is both silky and strong and it looks as lovely on the hank as it does knitted up. 
The silkworms that produce the silk are fed only on mulberry leaves, and the resulting silk is some of the finest in the world. The mulberry silk is worsted spun to produce a yarn that is luxuriously soft and smooth but not slippery as many synthetic fibres are. Silk is one of the strongest natural fibres. It is absorbent and feels cool to the touch so is perfect for spring and summer garments and accessories.
